There is one thing certain about time- IT NEVER STOPS! The hours, minutes, and seconds continue to pass away each and every day of our lives. I reminded myself today of how I must learn to take better control over my time. I want to be the best steward of the time that God gives me each day that He wakes me up. I was reminded of what God’s Word says about time in Romans 5:16 –“Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.” (Amplified) In the King James Version of the Bible Romans 5:16 reads, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
We must stay focused, and ask God to assist us in taking complete control of the time given to us. If we put God’s stuff first, then He will take care of all of our stuff. Make the most of your day, and allow God to guide your every step and action.
During my time or absence from blogging for about a week, it allowed me to do some inner reflection about my day-to-day priorities and obligations. This time also allowed me to examine certain things in my life which are distractions.
What things in your life are distracting you and keeping you from doing the things that God desires for you to do?
Think about that, and allow this question to marinate in your spirit!!
Then let me hear from you.

Mondays just have a way of being overloaded with immediate requests that come in to us from every direction. We can choose to view Mondays like the “world system” as being a headache-filled stressful day. On the other hand, we can decide to view Mondays according to “God’s Word system” as it being a day filled with limitless possibilities and awesome opportunities. I personally choose to view Mondays in the light of God’s Word, because it is a new day in the Lord and we should rejoice and be glad in it! Enjoy your Monday! (as well as Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!) Every new day gives us a clean slate to create our God given destinies and dreams upon. Celebrate every new day, as if it was your first! God did not have to wake you up this morning, but He did. There is a specific reason that He decided to wake you up on today, are you fulfilling His call on your life?
