Opting out of the “Recession” talk…

Praise God, for another day to bring Him glory! I guess I decided this awhile ago, but just thought I should let the whole world know that I am officially opting out of all this talk about “recession.” Since I operate on the “WORD” system, and not the “World’s” system none of the characteristics of “recession” apply to me. I think that is just the most wonderful thing!!! YEA!!!!!!

You do know that you can get in on this joy too? At least if you are a born again, bible believin’, Child of the Most High God- then you can enjoy this one of MANY, MANY benefits which comes with the package. A Holy and Divine package with no expiration date or shelf life, and your benefits do not have a 30, 60, or 90 day waiting period before they begin. There is nothing better!

Continue to walk, better yet RUN in God’s purpose and destiny for your life!

Is God getting ALL the GLORY from your blog?

As I was reading some other Christian Blogs, I stumbled upon one that truly spoke to my spirit. This was a question that I try to ask myself each time before I post something on this blog. Because when I initially started this blog, it was because God had given me instructions that I needed to start one so He could get the Glory from the content that I published or the helpful resources/information which others could access as they walk in God’s Divine Destiny for their lives.

So the blog that I found written by Bob Kauflin is entitled: “Worship Matters – Resources for Leading Worship”  it can be accessed by clicking on this link :

http://www.worshipmatters.com/category/blogging-to-worship-god/

He features some awesome information concerning “Blogging to Worship God”- there are three different module posts related to this topic (1) Content, (2) Attitudes, and (3) Motives. I highly recommend that you read these posts, because it will give you insight into how we as Christians should make sure whatever we are doing- that we are doing it for God to get the Glory and not ourselves.

I trust that when you read his blogs on this topic, you will be as blessed as I was.

Until tomorrow, goodnight!

On a mission……

It is Saturday, and I am on a mission. The mission is to locate some more BLUE ZIPLOC BAGS to use for the missionary “treat” bags that my Women’s Ministry uses to send with our missionaries that travel overseas. I am determined that there has to be somewhere else in this city that sells them. So I am off on my mission today for God’s Kingdom to locate these ziploc bags, I know I can find them somewhere. Until I return….. have a blessed Saturday! Walk in God’s Destiny for your life.

The Real Power to Change

We all talk about change, but what are we really doing individually as well as corporately within the Body of Christ to initiate a global transformation where racial, gender, and nationality divisions are completely dissolved. How do we essentially take the initial steps to actually break down the barriers and MAKE IT HAPPEN?  I believe all the answers we need are present right in the Word of God.

The Word of God gives critical insight into how we should begin making this spiritual revolution a reality in our daily life.

Colossians 3:8-11 in the Amplified Bible tells us starting with verse 8:

“But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!

(9) Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old (unregenerate) self with its evil practices.

(10) And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it.

(11)[In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person].

These four scriptural verses contain a divine set of instructions for all within the Body of Christ. If we are true believers in God’s Word, then we must be obedient to follow what His Holy Word commands us to do. The Gospel has the power to tear down any and all barriers. Paul was expressed the importance of not focusing on the categories of race, ethnic background, gender, socioeconomic status, or an individual’s background, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ defines us all as being one class of believers.

We must embrace all people of every race, every culture, and from every nation. Remember, “Christ is all, and in all.” [Colossians 3:10 KJV]

Before the attack…..

Before the attack.......Okay well after church yesterday, I thought I would take my chihuahua “Ms. Precious” for a long walk. So at my apartment complex we have a small pond that I have actually never taken the time to truly enjoy the beauty of it’s existence. So as I am snapping random pictures of the geese, flowers, and water with my digital camera, I realize the geese are moving at a rather fast trot towards me and my normally “vicious” barking chihuahua. However, apparently Ms. Precious figured this was a battle that she did not want any part of on her peaceful Sunday afternoon. (Bad time for her to decide that she did not know how to bark, although she barks at little bugs that fly around her head; thanks Ms. Precious!!)  Literally seconds after I snapped this picture, these geese started hissing and snapping their beaks at us. They chased us back up to the sidewalk, and I have never seen geese run so fast! Or perhaps Ms. Precious and I were just running too slow.

So this little incident started me thinking about how we as Christians should always be conditioned, ready, and prepared before the enemy tries to attack us. How do we prepare for an attack? First, it is vital to fill ourselves with God’s Word DAILY!!!!! Prepare yourself in advance, so you can discern in the spirit any scheme or tactic which the enemy is using to come against you. The second key is to pray continually, all day everyday. Pray while you are at work, in your car, cooking in the kitchen, before going into a meeting, while showering, as you are walking to your car, when you are chatting on the phone, when putting on make-up, as you are getting your nails done, or when God wakes you up —- YOU CAN AND SHOULD PRAY ANYTIME!!!!! By simply taking the time to get in God’s Word and pray without ceasing, we prepare ourselves for any attack or scheme that the enemy may devise and use to distract us from pursuing God’s divine destiny for our lives.

Abundant Blessings to all my brothers and sisters in Christ! Walk out your divine destiny!

Thirsty?

I am sitting inside typing away on the keys of my laptop, while the temperature outside boils at 100 plus degrees. Thanks be to God for the modern day blessings of central air, as well as ceiling fans, of which I have both on MAXIMUM HIGH right at this moment.  While watching the 6 o’clock news just now, I had a revelation as the weatherman discussed the early season record temperatures and the “heatwave” that we are experiencing here on the East Coast. According to temperature history “logbooks”, we experienced hot temperatures of this magnitude back on this day in 1899. So here is my revelation for all it is worth; long before there was discussion of “global warming” or the “greenhouse effect”, the earth was experiencing what it calls “unseasonable” extreme temperatures. Therefore,  when are people going to realize that we operate on God’s system- The Word’s System, and not “The World’s System.” When you become a Christian and you have an intimate relationship with God, then the theoretical things, ideations, and beliefs of this world system do not apply to you. As a child of the Most High God, you have been set apart and given all the supplies you need for your journey. When you are thirsty or exhausted, just dive into His Holy Word. For in God’s Word one will find the only replenishment, which can completely quench your thirst.

[ John 7:37-38 ~”In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (King James Version)]
